Head of the Vestibular Department Gloria Vassolo,PT graduated from University of North East Argentina in 1985 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, she obtained post-graduate training at the Italian Hospital, Argentina and in Mount Sinai Medical Center, Florida.
Additional training for Vestibular Competency (sponsored by the APTA) was completed in 1995 and 2005 within the University of Miami and Emory University.
She was a staff member at Mount Sinai’s Physical Therapy Rehab Inpatient and Outpatient Department from 1992 until 2002.
She went on to become the director of the National Balance Center and a clinical educator for the Florida International University and Miami Dade Community College.
Currently, she is leading the vestibular department within the Touch of Health Rehab Center in Sunny Isles, Florida.
She is actively involved in General Balance Retraining, Geriatrics/ Elderly Fall Prevention, Neuro-Rehab, Orthopedic Rehab/Postural Retraining, Vestibular Assessment, and Vestibular Rehab.
She is also fluent in English and Spanish.
While having 30 years of experience, her affinity for details, passion for community wellness, and belief in continual improvement sets her apart from others.
She has lived in Miami, Florida since 1990 with her husband, Dr. Vassolo, and her three kids, Juliana, Martin, and Daniela.
